ABOUT KYM…

Given that my favourite subjects at school were Sewing and Art & Design this inspired me to further develop my creative and artistic skills and talents. As a result of this I decided to join a sewing group so that I could interact with other like-minded individuals. I began exploring basic dressmaking where upon my tutor recognised my natural potential in art & design, so I went on to explore Fashion & Design where I acquired my Part 1 & 2 certificate. Whilst raising my children over the years as a single parent and working in different career roles I am now excited to teach individuals the art of sewing in a safe and comfortable environment. This is the catalyst that has accelerated the development of Sew crafty.
